Is Romio free to use? +
Yes — downloading and signing up is 100% free. Most chat features are free too. Coins are only required for video calls and premium gifts. New users get free welcome coins to start.
How does the random match work? +
When you tap "Random Match," our system instantly looks for someone of the opposite preference who is online and active. The match usually happens in under 2 seconds. If nobody is online, we'll let you know — try again in a moment.
How much do video calls cost? +
Video calls are 10 coins per minute on the standard rate. You'll need a minimum of 30 coins (3 minutes) in your wallet to start a call. New users receive free welcome coins on signup.
How do I get verified? +
Open the app, go to My Profile → Get Verified. Upload a selfie that clearly shows your face. Our team reviews submissions within 24 hours and adds the blue ✓ badge to your profile.
Can I use Romio in my language? +
Romio currently supports English, Tamil and Malayalam — fully translated UI. Hindi support is coming soon. To switch language, go to Settings → Language.
How do I block or report someone? +
Open any chat, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, then choose Block or Report. Blocked users cannot contact you again. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours by our safety team.
Is my phone number visible to others? +
No. Your phone number is used only for OTP verification on signup. It is never shown to other users, never displayed on your profile, and is never sold or shared with third parties.
How do I withdraw earnings (creators)? +
Once you cross ₹500 in earnings, go to Wallet → Withdraw, add your UPI ID or bank account, and request a payout. Payouts are processed within 48 hours, weekly on Mondays.
My OTP isn't arriving — what should I do? +
Wait 60 seconds and tap "Resend OTP." Make sure your number includes the country code. If you still don't receive it, check signal strength, restart the app, or contact us at contact@romio.live.
Can I delete my account? +
Yes. Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. Your data is permanently removed within 30 days. Active wallet balance must be withdrawn before deletion.

Use your own photo. Be honest about your age and your intentions. Catfishing leads to a permanent ban.

No harassment, no slurs, no unwanted explicit content. If someone says no — you stop. Always.
✓ Be safe
Never share bank details, OTPs, or transfer money to people you've just met. Romio will never ask for your password.
✗ Zero tolerance
Hate speech, content involving minors, harassment, scams, and illegal activities lead to immediate, permanent bans without warning.
